Hyde is a family business built on laughs, local produce, and a love of brunch that borders on obsession.We want to bring people together over good food, great drinks, and easy conversation. Whether that's a weekday coffee before lectures, a lazy post-parkrun brunch on a Saturday morning, or cocktails late into a Thursday night.We're proud to be part of the Hyde Park and Headingley community. If you're heading to a gig at Hyde Park Book Club, Brudenell or the O2 Academy, need a quiet corner to study or work, or you just want somewhere that feels like a proper local, this is your place.

Our menu
Fresh, homemade, and full of heart.Everything we serve is made with care and a pinch of personality. Our window is always packed with fresh bakes, including our famously huge cinnamon rolls, and our full menu has something for everyone whatever time of day you stop in.
HOUSE FAVOURITESKick things off with the iconic McHyde Breakfast Bap, a crowd favourite built around a perfect sausage and fluffy Japanese-style egg combo.Prefer plant-powered? The Veggie McHyde delivers with avocado smash and vine tomatoes piled high in a toasted bap.
Our Avo Smash on Toast is a fresh and flavourful staple, elevated with feta and basil (even better with a poached egg on top).For something sweet, the Homemade Nut Granola with seasonal compote or the Acai Bowl, bursting with fruit and nutty goodness, are guaranteed to set you up right.
Feeling adventurous? Try our Hyde House Bloody Mary Beans on Toast, rich, smoky, and genuinely addictive.Or go for the sweet-and-savoury combo of crunchy peanut butter, caramelised banana, and homemade granola on toast.
Sourdough fans, we've got you covered too. Spread it thick with butter, jam, or our homemade chocolate and hazelnut.

Our drinks
At Hyde, we take our drinks as seriously as our brunch.Our coffee is the Hyde Blend, roasted locally by the brilliant Jolly Bean Roastery. Smooth, rich, and just the right amount of bold.We also pour proper teas and seasonal iced drinks, with homemade syrups for those who like a little twist.Our bar keeps things local and lively. Think wines and fizz by the glass or bottle, craft beers from nearby Yorkshire breweries, and a seasonal cocktail menu that changes with the weather (and our mood).Whether you're starting your morning right or winding down after a long day, we'll make sure your drink hits the spot.

We love celebrating local, so our retail shelves are stocked with products from our favourite independent makers.Homeware, jewellery, artwork, and our very own Hyde coffee blend to take home by the bag. You'll also find celebration cards, fresh flowers, and sourdough loaves to treat someone special.

From creative workshops and community gatherings to supper clubs and seasonal celebrations, Hyde is proud to host a range of events throughout the year.We host a Sewcial on the last Thursday of every month, open to anyone with a crafty creation in hand. We've also hosted movie nights, quiz nights, magazine launches, private parties, and community socials. You'll find us right on the crossroads in the heart of Hyde Park, LS6. The kind of place you stumble into once and keep coming back to.Getting hereWe're a short walk from the University of Leeds and Leeds Beckett University, and just around the corner from Woodhouse Moor. There's on-street parking nearby and we're well served by buses along Headingley Lane and Woodhouse Lane.Post-parkrun brunch 🏃Woodhouse Moor parkrun finishes practically on our doorstep. We open at 8am, so come straight in, get your breath back, and let us feed you properly. The McHyde Bap was practically made for this moment.Pre-gig drinks 🎵Heading to Hyde Park Book Club, Brudenell Social Club, the O2 Academy, or another Leeds gig?We're perfectly placed for pre-show food and drinks. Thursday to Saturday we're open until 10:30pm, plenty of time for cocktails before the main event.Students and freelancers 🎓Whether you need a quiet study spot, a coworking desk, or just a decent coffee to get through a deadline, Hyde is your place.We're a 5-minute walk from the University of Leeds and welcome anyone who wants to settle in for a few hours.Opening HoursSunday to Wednesday
